Acceptable Use Policy

Block1Host and its affiliated entities, including its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as "Block1Host"), have established this Acceptable Use Policy to foster responsible utilization of Block1Host's networks, systems, services, websites, and products (collectively referred to as "Block1Host's Network and Services"). This policy is designed to encourage secure, reliable, and productive services for our customers and other users ("Users").

Unacceptable Activities

1. Malicious Activities:

● Any involvement in spam, including relays, sites, links, or proxies.
● Netscan/portscan activities.
● DDoS originations of any kind.
● Distribution of malware, hacking attempts (e.g., SQL injection attacks, remote code execution).
● Operating or participating in a botnet, doorway pages, or carding activities.
● Phishing, scams, or impersonation platforms designed for stealing information or money (e.g., credit card scams, password scam sites, fake cryptocurrency exchanges).
● Impersonation platforms imitating known institutions (e.g., eBay, PayPal).

2. Illegal and Harmful Content

● Hosting or sharing child pornography.
● Selling pharmaceuticals without a license.
● Sharing or distributing materials related to terrorism.
● Doxxing: revealing or sharing personal and private information without consent, constituting a privacy violation..

3. Server Abuse

● Chia mining on shared hosted accounts, VPS, or dedicated servers.

Notice for Iceland

● Adult content of any kind is prohibited on our Iceland location.
● Misuse of our network will result in immediate suspension of your service and account without warning or refund.

The use of Block1Host's Network and Services must align with their intended purposes and adhere to lawful practices.

Notice for Iceland

● Transmitting, distributing, or storing material that is fraudulent, abusive, or contains viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful components.
● Distributing fraudulent offers for goods or services, along with any promotional materials containing false, deceptive, or misleading statements, claims, or representations.
● Engaging in activities that may expose Block1Host or its personnel to criminal or civil liability.

Additionally, please note that all VPS and dedicated servers are unmanaged. Support for software, services, etc., will incur charges if you haven't booked an admin service. We appreciate your adherence to these guidelines for a secure and responsible usage of our services at Block1Host.

Block1Host assumes no responsibility for any material created or accessible on or through Block1Host's Networks and Services unless posted by or at the request of Block1Host. We do not actively monitor or exercise editorial control over such material

but reserve the right to do so within the limits of applicable law. Block1Host disclaims responsibility for the content of any websites other than those under Block1Host's domain, including linked websites. Links are provided as tools for internet navigation only.

Users are prohibited from sending unsolicited e-mail messages, commonly known as "Spam," in a manner that could reasonably impact Block1Host's Network and Services adversely. This includes utilizing an email account on Block1Host's network for Spam transmission or using another service provider to send Spam promoting a site hosted on or connected to Block1Host's network.

Additionally, Users may not use Block1Host's Network and Services to

● Send excessive e-mail messages intended to harass or annoy others.
● Persistently send e-mail messages to recipients who have indicated a desire not to receive them.
● Transmit email with forged TCP/IP packet header information.
● Engage in malicious email practices, such as "mailbombing."
● Conduct e-mail activities that violate the use policies of any other internet service provider.
● Utilize an email box exclusively as a storage space for data.

It's important to note that mass mailing from shared hosting is strictly prohibited at Block1Host. For such purposes, we recommend using a professional mail service.

At Block1Host, users are strictly prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of Block1Host's Network and Services. This includes, but is not limited to

● Accessing data not intended for the user or logging into a server or account without proper authorization.
● Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network, or breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization.
● Trying to interfere with, disrupt, or disable service to any user, host, or network through methods such as overloading, "flooding," "mailbombing," or "crashing."
● Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting.
● Taking any action to obtain services to which the user is not entitled.

Violations of system or network security at Block1Host may result in civil or criminal liability. We prioritize the integrity and security of our network to ensure a safe and reliable hosting environment.
